Chapter Activities in promotion of the National Society's objectives:

American History Essay Contest: open to 5th-8th grade students in local Volusia County schools.

DAR Good Citizen Contest: open to Seniors at Local High School.

NSDAR Sponsored Schools: funds donated to schools nationally.

NJROTC: an Annual award is presented to an outstanding ROTC Cadet at a Local University.

Patriotic Events: Chapter participates in local Memorial Day Services.

U.S. Flag: presented annually to patriotic organization, historical society, school, scout troop, or retirement/nursing home. Flag flown over Capital on June 14th presented to winner of DAR Good Citizen Award.

Historical Preservation:  Participates in Local, State, and National Projects.

Lineage Research:   Participates in Local State and National Lineage research and Local and State Genealogy Seminars.
